In the Bible in Mark 6, Jesus sends out the disciples and tells them to go throughout the area preaching the gospel, casting out devils, and healing the sick and wherever they lodged, stay in that house and bless it. Take no script or a lot of luggage, but travel light basically. They return a few weeks later excited and giving testimony that even the demons were subject to them. Now remember they had not yet received the Holy Ghost, but Jesus had given them power of devils and to heal the sick. In Mark 9 after the transfiguration account of Mark, the disciples cannot cast out a demon in a boy with his father. Jesus comes up, rebukes the disciples for their unbelief; then asks the father how long had the young man been in that state and if he believes. The father replies, "Lord I believe, but help my unbelief. Then Jesus rebukes the demon to "come out" and it throws him around a little, foams and pining away but then leaves the man. In Matt. 24, the bible records that antichrist and false christ shall rise up and do signs & wonders that it will in some cases be believable enough to deceive even the best of Christians. This concept should grab you that if the devil, antichrist, beast and false prophet know that supernatural power can fool or deceive the Elect Christians, then why don't Christians understand that the manifestation of the Jesus of Power will help make Believers out of Unbelievers. Yes, some people only come sometimes for the miracles, gifts, and God's stuff; but often there is a true worshiper in the crowd that needs to experience the Jesus of Power and in today's Church world, we are the Vessels/people who must represent and sometimes demonstrate Jesus Power. Not Jesus talk, or Church gossip/jargan, but Jesus Power. Time to stop having a form of godliness, and denying the Power; but living a better holiness and embracing the Jesus of Power....
